sys, windows will ignore them as if they don't exist. If you absolutely must delete for some unknown reason, then I would suggest renaming them to something like or so that you can easily reverse your actions if something goes wrong. As mentioned earlier, there is no need to remove or delete files just to get Windows to use Logitech drivers and software. They cause no harm by merely existing there. Unless you are certain about what you are doing and what your actions will affect and have a very good reason for deleting them, it's best to just leave them alone. sys files usually contain configuration information for a variety of different hardware options, including which drivers need to be loaded. They are very small files and needed for a multitude of operations in Windows.

Many different software packages and hardware devices use the same dynamic link libraries (dll) and configuration files (.sys) scattered throughout the \windows\system32 folder(s). That's why I said it is " not recommended" to delete those files before I explained how to remove them. You'll just be setting yourself up for possible headaches in the future by deleting system files.

You could also inadvertently delete files that could also be required by another device (an image scanner just as an example) if you connect one in the future, or some other device that you don't yet own but may purchase one day in the future. You're welcome :) I saw the built-in laptop webcam also use the same set of drivers, if I delete them, would it be affecting the built-in webcam? Yes, it most certainly will affect the built-in webcam.
